Introducing Mike Campbell: director, animator, designer and newest addition to the double wide media team! Mike conceived of, designed, and animated this show open to Comedy Central's roast of Chevy Chase. This piece, which you can view after the jump, was awarded the 2001 BDA Bronze in the BDA North American Design Awards.

Created with Neural Films, PAPALOTE was commissioned by the Children’s Science Museum in Mexico City and shown on air and in IMAX theaters. Our own Mac Premo was at the helm for the creation of the robot kid wonder.

This is a conference open that Stefano Dembro constructed, to be a surrealistic “day in the life” of a guy, and how everything he does is connected to his next move by the technology around him. Light’s change from red to green as he nears them, and billboard advertising changes to products specifically geared towards his interests. The moments within the open touched on the ideas that the wireless developers will be creating in the near future.

Now on Hulu.com! “3 Points” follows basketball superstar Tracy McGrady to refugee camps in Chad. Watch the graphic intro, produced by Doublewide Media, here. The United Nations provided images from the Darfur region which are used to depict the atrocities committed by the Janjaweed. The result is a slow, vivid and dramatic dreamscape that forces the viewer to confront an issue that’s often talked about, but rarely seen.
